I began teaching at Brownfield High School in August of 2016 and am currently employed as Director of Choirs. This is my second year teaching at Brownfield High School.
Prior to working at Brownfield High School, I was the music teacher at Oak Grove and Colonial Heights Elementary in 2015-2016.
Currently, I reside close to Brownfield and have two crazy dogs at home. My dogs are my “children”.
Faely is a 9 year old Rat Terrier. She loves to play fetch and will drop a tennis, soccer, or really any type of ball at your feet to throw. She loves to get into anything that smells edible. She will rummage through any bag that is within reach. No one dares to leave anything edible within her reach. It’s fair game if it is in her reach.
Tippy is a 1 year old Papillion. She is my lovebug and gives cuddles and love when she sees fit. She can be found outside laying in her China-deep holes she dug in the backyard or on the couch destroying a stuffed toy. Tippy likes to run around the house and outside with items that shouldn’t be outside. Dishtowels, socks, and hair ties are her favorite thing to steal.
I was born in Hawaii and raised in Alabama. My family members can be found in California, Alabama, New York, Florida, and Arkansas. Just about all of my family is affiliated with the military. I have 5 sisters, 1 brother, a nephew, and a niece. My family represents the Army, Air Force, and Coast Guard.
I enjoy arts and crafts, puzzles, tv shows, and traveling.
When I am not teaching, I can be found traveling, sleeping, doing a puzzle, or at the movies.
